Falling Back on

Too many songs and not enough dancers
To sing along with love as the answer
As the melody sweeps
The people off their feet
Making the shuffle to the street
A mere muffled speech
To put fear away as the people play
The lonely song into the night
Moving slow into the light
Moving more to slight the plight
And become bold to the old
As the young becomes sold to the
Eternity of words making the sound
Certainly heard with a pure
Cure of insecurities
As we scurry within hopes
And the fury of worry
Always falling back into the dreams
We follow as we lack the tangible
things we have to fall back on
