His Will Is Still

Lord knows I've tried, He also knows
what is on my inside
as I lie and have lied
to try and be tried

By His Spirit that is here in it's fullness
As I adhere as He bestows
to do what is right in His eyes
as I am through with what bites my sight

And blinds me to the glory of His insight
and His sacrifice to my surprise
by His advice to do what is in the heart as 
we should be smart to let the flesh take a hike

And start fresh despite my laws and flaws I live 
when the heart has a clause to give, compassion
as I win His satisfaction
to do His Will and fail no more

Always to say I can even though I am a man
and do what is right to leave the flesh and fight
for the light enlightening the soul
to delight in the Lord to make me whole

Where there's a hole in my heart filled with the  
soul he imparts as my free will still wants to doubt 
and cause me pain in vain as I shout out loud and 
cry out why? Does doing good seem to die on the vine

And not grow the fruit I know in doing His Will and choosing
the role of Christ refusing to sell myself short and suffice His Will
before my own as He instills my heart to give the world
another chance to take back sin and enhance the dance we are in

to sing and say for the things we may bring upon our circumstances
As we believe upon His Will and romance our wonder to be under
the spirit and not the flesh as Christ Jesus sacrificed His best and 
endured His holiness of His Father's role to just follow through

As He does and will do for us to prove to the Lord He affords
as His according to trust the Will He instills as we fulfill His desire
and conquer the ill we are filled with to expire as we know He bestows what future we have as we hurry to laugh at all the 

commotion in the emotion they have as we still the heart with 
devotion and at last be the ones He comes back for as He remains
what we are lacking for and informs us through His Word
as we are assured through prayer His Will is still in His care
