In The Light

Sacrifice 
The price of sin
As Christ Jesus
Sees us innocent
And wins
Redemption
As our intentions
Again
Are forgiven
As we begin to 
Behave and are
Saved with His Will
Still committing sin
And heartache
Wanting free will
As we partake
In the nice advice
To do what is right
And see from blindness
And a mindless fight
To again aspire 
To do His Will
And not our own
Requiring prayer
To dare the unknown
And share His trust
As we must care and 
Love instead of lust
To fair above and may
Angels keep an eye on us
As we wrangle entangled
In sin and fuss
With our immature character
As we mature where we are sure
To entrust our souls to endure the roles
Of a Christian who must pray and say
What needs are unmet
Believing we may receive
The blessings yet forget
The talk we walk
As we balk and stumble
Holding on to the talk that's humble
And walk the walk we know is right
As we talk the talk to grow in the light
