Enlightened

Believe in a man who understands
and has a plan relieving
The world of pain and all the shame
being named a game
To go asunder and stand alone
in the pouring rain
Without a shelter for his brain
as he became a main
Philosopher of the moment
being hired as a squire
Offering his bestowing to be alive
in the drive of survival
And not heed to succeed
in the arrival of living
as he was giving every ounce
of who he was
A man without
a tangible shred
of possession
A person certain
there is more than a curtain
at the end of
Playing a role
as a man behind the curtain
To ascend and display His own
way for His day today
His captivating stay
as he cannot continue to be
In the window of our lives
But with the endowment
of our sight we are surprised
By this light
the right to be delighted
In His return into our hearts
